With college starting back in three weeks, organization has been at the head of my priorities. I don't know about you, but I can't focus when all of my stuff is all over the place. When my notes for each class are jumbled together, or papers are not filed..I just can't think straight! It really takes a toll on my sanity. (not really..ok kind of...)
So if you are going back to school, or are just looking for a way to keep your business or paperwork organized, this post is for you!
I am going to share with you my way of keeping everything in its place and my ways of studying/keeping study material together.
First of all, I couldn't live without my Lilly Pulitzer planner. Ok well maybe I could, but it definitely makes my life a whole lot easier! It is adorable which makes organization way more fun. All throughout the planner there are beautiful watercolor prints. It also came with stickers. Yes, you read that right- STICKERS! My little kid heart just about burst open with joy :)
They also sell matching pens. So that definitely happened.
The next thing you need to organizational success is a durable binder. And it definitely helps when it bright and colorful! Inside you will need dividers, a pencil pouch, an overall calendar, and LOTS of loose leaf paper.
Of course you will also need an adorable print from Printable Wisdom to make your binder extra cute, and keep the focus on Christ. On the back I stuck some pictures of my favorite people for extra encouragement to study hard.
Next, a three pronged folder to take with you classes to keep those important handouts safe. I personally love the Five Star folders because they are extra durable and have flaps on the inside to keep your papers from bending.
Now to study habits. I take notes on my loose leaf paper, and when I get home I rewrite those notes into each subjects own spiral notebook. Rewriting the notes helps me remember them and it makes them look nice and neat. (Not all of that scribble nonsense). Then after that I go back through and highlight the important facts!
If there are any important terms, I make them into flashcards. But most importantly, read read read!!! Read every book the teacher assigns you.

Not so fun, I know. But it gets the job done! And I cannot stress enough how much it will help your sanity when your to-do list is sky high and you have papers coming out of your ears. Also when you buy things all colorful and happy, it just makes life more fun!!
Have a great Tuesday!
I'm off to try zumba for the first time. Have any of you tried zumba?

I love all your cute ways to stay organized! I am also all about planners and binders. I've moved from student to teacher but I think it is still just as important to stay organized on this end. There's so many papers to keep track of, meetings to attend, it's crazy! What year of school are you going into? I miss college so much!
