Almost Summer

           When we first started dating, Matthew told me of his desire to be a counselor. He loved being a teacher, but his ultimate dream was to be a counselor. Well, this spring he went back to school, and guess what?! He's finished with his first semester of grad school!

 

 



            I'm SO proud of him...So I had to get him a little "happy". { A happy is something my mama says for getting someone a little something extra just for fun and encouragement (: She's the best yall...} My mama also always has cute punny saying that go along with all of her gifts. Every gift has a meaning with her, and so I wanted to try to give a gift like she does. Matthew loves Toms, because he can teach in them, wear them to church, and just to be casual. They are the ultimate shoe for him. His were falling apart! So after he finished his final exam, he met me at church where I gave him these:

 

 

 

Please please please ignore the dirty car...We can't always be perfect! Actually, I think I function better when things aren't always picture perfect. Life is messy. And I'm perfectly ok never ever pretending to have it all together..Cause trust me-I don't.

 

Anyways, I have my final chemistry exam tonight. I am SO nervous! It's over Chem I & II. So please say a prayer around 5:30!
